eNews Update - March 2023

Dear Friends of Resilient Ready,

We hope you are celebrating International Women's Day and the wonderful contribution women are making across the disaster resilience sector. Our particular thanks go to Anne Massey and Kate Carnell AO for your guidance and support.

We were thrilled to recently be part of the Recovery Exercising Toolkit developed by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). You know you're doing something right when leaders in the resilience and recovery field reach out to you for your expertise.

This month we welcome Professor Daniel Aldrich to Australia's shores, something we've been busily planning for. He'll be joining us to engage with our projects on Kangaroo Island and in the Blue Mountains. Keep an eye out for our April newsletter, in which we'll share some further details from those visits.

It has been a busy few years for our team, and we've been reflecting lately on our 'lessons learned' file as we look back at the 50+ communities we have worked with so far. We've also been putting some thought into how we can better explain the role of social enterprises like ourselves, and the part they play in creating a better world for us all.

If you've been thinking about reaching out and connecting with Resilient Ready to talk about your business resilience needs, do it now - it only takes a minute to book a discovery call, and we're ready to engage.

The Resilient Ready Team.
